One of the highlights of our travel experience through the years was to England and France. Our youngest son and his girlfriend (now his wife) were living in London at the time so it was a perfect opportunity to visit them. I enjoyed going through some of the old photos (Before digital cameras) and bringing new life to them.

We have friends in California and have been to visit them on several occasions.

I enjoyed my trip down memory lane and I am eager now to scrap more of our holidays.

The weather has been wet and windy as we head into winter here in NZ. But yesterday and today the sun is shining even if the air is crisp. Quite early for the cold this year.

I don't mind winter as I can enjoy staying indoors and scrapping without feeling guilty.

I hope you find this kit gives you inspiration for your own pages. The beauty of these mixed media monthly kits is the colours all blend together so you will end up with plenty of papers and elements to mix and match.

We had cyclone Vaianu hit New Zealand a few days ago. It caused quite a bit of damage down the country, but was nowhere near as bad as was predicted. It slid off the coast as it went down the North Island thank goodness. Wouldn't have wanted to receive the full force. Our property borders on the Kumeu river which flooded our bottom paddock but our house is up higher and perfectly safe. Just a lot of debris to clean off the fences now.

The evening sky on the night before the storm gave us an incredible display of colour.

 My contribution to the Digital Scrapbooking Monthly Blog Train for April is a bright colourful kit full of elements and papers created in thick acrylic paint to add the vibrancy of spring to your pages. There is also a soft watercolour paper pack when you are looking for a softer touch.

There are 100 elements and 36 papers with bright colourful flowers, vegetables, animals, children and don't forget the birds and bees.

I love bright colours and I love spring so I really enjoyed creating this bundle.
